**Job Description****Harborview - Sexual Health Clinic**has an outstanding opportunity for a **Patient Services Specialist 2.** **WORK SCHEDULE:*** Full-time, 100% FTE* 40 hours per week* Mondays- Fridays/ 9:30am- 6:00pm* No Telework/On-site**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**The Sexual Health Clinic is a Public Health-Seattle & King County service that provides confidential STD and HIV evaluation, screening, testing and treatment on a sliding-fee scale.The clinic can be accessed on a walk-in basis. If you need to be seen later than 3:30 p.m., please call our clinic to make sure we are still accepting patients for the day or contact the King County clinic website.**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS*** Conveniently located near public transportation.* Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve.* Opportunity to provide career growth.**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging* Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments* Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information* Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery* Other duties as requested**REQUIREMENTS*** High school graduation or equivalent* AND* One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience* OR* An equivalent combination of education/experience* Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration**ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER**As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
