Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

AMN Healthcare is partnering with West Fargo Public Schools in West Fargo, North Dakota, to hire a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' communication success and committed to fostering a collaborative, professional, and positive educational environment. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, families, and related service providers to support the communication needs of a diverse student population.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services as outlined by the supervising SLP and student IEPs.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Conduct student observations and collect data on student performance and progress.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting intervention activities.
• Maintain accurate service logs and student documentation as required.
• Assist with gathering information and documentation related to evaluations, progress monitoring, and IEP meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and the supervising SLP to support student success.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as appropriate.
• Understand and adhere to North Dakota SLPA supervision requirements and maintain regular communication with the supervising SLP to ensure compliance with all state and district regulations.
