Melter | Food Production Operator

• Swing Shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM): $22.50/hr
• Graveyard Shift (9:30 PM - 6:00 AM): $23.50/hr

Job Description

• Load cocoa powder into melting equipment and monitor production processes
• Lift and handle bags up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Track machine temperatures, weights, and production data using computer systems
• Perform quality checks and basic equipment troubleshooting
• Maintain GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Experience operating, monitoring, or troubleshooting production equipment
• Comfortable with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine monitoring
• Able to work in hot environments (up to 120°F during summer months)
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety practices
• Reliable attendance and ability to work well independently or on a team

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing facility producing chocolate products
• Warm temperatures and moderate-to-high noise levels
• Frequent stair climbing and movement throughout the facility
• Overtime and weekend work may be required 

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, CA.

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
