Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing. BSN required \nRequired Experience: - At least 3 years of RN OR experience - Travel experience required - Candidate must complete ~70 Net Learning modules and pass ECG/Medication exam with a score of 80 or higher within one-week of acceptance to work the assignment at SWGH \nRequired Certifications:- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing - BLS - ACLS - PALS\nPosition Responsibilities/Expectations: - Conducts a comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of the patient according to established standard\nincluding the assessment of safety and educational needs. - Directs the establishment of a collaborative plan of care based on the assessment data with all other involved disciplines\nand communicates this plan of care as appropriate. - Implements and evaluates the plan of care based on identified patient goals and intended outcomes. Modifies the plan of\ncare based on reassessment of the patients status. - Completes all documentation according to established standard and utilizes the established documentation tools\nappropriately. - Assesses the readiness of the patient and significant other to learn and implements the individualized education plan\naccording to the need. - Actively leads in the Department of Nursing or unit-based initiatives including such activities as provision of in-service\nopportunities or volunteering to serve as project point for committees and task forces. - Provides age appropriate care for the specific population served as detailed by the organization. - Performs all functions according to established policies procedures regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as\napplicable professional standards.
