Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Warehouse Patrol in Palmetto, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support badge and access control processes, assist with screening activities, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, warehouse areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery personnel credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
