Role Description The Retirement Plan Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Framingham MA (or east of), with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the advisor will support participants in employer-sponsored retirement plans by providing guidance on retirement strategies, investment choices, and savings goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations via phone, video, and in person, explaining plan features and options, and helping individuals understand risk tolerance, asset allocation, and long-term planning. The advisor will analyze participant information, document recommendations in accordance with regulatory standards, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high-quality service experience. The role also involves staying current on market trends, regulatory changes, and Empower’s products and tools to deliver accurate, compliant, and clear advice. Qualifications Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences. Knowledge of Finance and Investments, including asset allocation, risk management, and basic portfolio construction relevant to retirement accounts. Experience in a Financial Advisory or client-facing advisory role, preferably within retirement or wealth management services. Relevant certifications or progress toward credentials such as CFP®, ChFC®, or other recognized financial planning or advisory designations are highly beneficial. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills, with a commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple consultations, and use financial planning software and digital tools with proficiency. Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in financial services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
