About the Position

Job Title: Level 3 RN Endo/GI Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8.0 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of Endoscopy procedure experience License: New York RN License Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA ONLY), ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY) Must-Have: - Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification - Conscious sedation - Expert IV insertion - Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia - Experience performing intake for GI procedures Description: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM. On-call required for overnight and weekend shifts. Job Duties include: Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns. Observing patient vital signs. Sedating patients before procedures. Recovering patients after procedures. Administering necessary medication to patients. Completing all necessary documentation, including patient notes and discharge documents. Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure. Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use. Providing assistance to doctors throughout the procedure. Administering IV drips.
