Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Hospice for a travel assignment in Hyannis, MA. This role involves providing essential care to hospice patients in both home and facility settings across Cape Cod. As a Float RN, this position requires travel to patient homes to deliver exceptional nursing care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Hospice - Travel

• Participates in interdisciplinary patient case conferences as needed
• Utilizes critical thinking skills to assess patients and respond appropriately
• Manages time efficiently and prioritizes patient needs
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Interacts compassionately with patients and their families
• Provides patient care with a compassionate attitude
• Notifies MD of significant patient condition changes
• Completes admission and other paperwork in a timely manner
• Records clear, concise narrative documentation
• Ensures completion of admission paperwork by 9am of next business day
• Adheres to nursing standards set by the American Nurses Association
• Implements Plan of Care under physician direction
• Supervises Hospice Aides as per regulations
• Assists in orientation of new staff as requested

Requirements of the RN - Hospice - Travel

• Successful passage of VNA pre-hire medication test
• Current RN license in Massachusetts
• Two years of Hospice RN experience
• Preferred: Hospice Home Care experience, IV Certification, Computer skills, BSN
