Answer program questions and concerns, and maintain upkeep and cleanliness of the group fitness equipment.Job DescriptionEssential Duties:Maintains a safe and friendly environment, keeping patron well-being and satisfaction the priorityCreates and instructs varying types of group fitness lesson plans appropriate for multiple levelsArrives at least 10 minutes prior to class to prepare music, check room cleanliness, set up equipment if needed, and greet and check-in participants as they arriveStays after class to ensure all participants’ questions are answered, equipment is put away, and performance rooms are cleanKeeps substitutions to a minimum, and preferably for urgent matters onlyKnowledgeable in all emergency proceduresHelps to promote the program in the Miami University and Oxford CommunityMinimum Requirements:Completes the Instructor Training Program or completion of successful auditionObtains CPR/AED certification within 30 days of employmentAdditional Position Information (if applicable)Required Application DocumentsResumeSpecial Instructions (if applicable)NoneAdditional InformationA criminal background check is required.
