RN or Graduate Nurse Resident - Neuro (PT, Nights)

Position Details Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident. Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, CapeGirardeau, MO. Department: 4E Neuro. Status: Part‑Time — 24hours/week. Shift: 12‑hour nights (7:00 am–7:30 pm). Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure, and must meet state board of nursing requirements. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit‑specific certifications as required. Physical Requirements Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
