Holistic Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Location: Black Mountain, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Starting at $50/hour (W-2)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a patient-focused dental practice specializing in holistic and biological dentistry. This role is ideal for a hygienist passionate about whole-body wellness, preventive care, and educating patients on natural oral health solutions. The practice follows a fluoride-free, mercury-free philosophy and emphasizes minimally invasive, biocompatible dental care.

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene appointments using holistic, fluoride-free techniques.

• Conduct periodontal assessments, preventive cleanings, and oral health evaluations.

• Educate patients on natural remineralization, nutrition, and holistic oral health practices.

• Utilize non-toxic dental products and support minimally invasive periodontal therapy.

• Assist with ozone therapy, laser therapy, herbal rinses, and other integrative dental treatments.

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Create a welcoming, patient-centered environment focused on comfort and wellness.

• Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and professional standards.

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in North Carolina .

• Passion for holistic, biological, and biocompatible dentistry.

• Experience with or willingness to learn:

  • Ozone therapy

  • Laser therapy

  • Alternative remineralization techniques

• Strong understanding of the connection between nutrition and oral health.

• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, toxin-free dental care.
