Senior Partner Solutions Engineer - Federal FSI

Salary: $110,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We want 5+ years of experience in pre-sales solutions engineering or solutions architecture for data, security, or observability platforms.
• We need strong hands-on expertise in data pipeline architecture and at least one major SIEM or analytics ecosystem, including the ability to create reference architectures others can implement.
• We expect working knowledge of the U.S. Federal market, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and government cloud deployment models.
• We value experience working with partners, channel organizations, or systems integrators as a primary technical audience, or equivalent experience inside a Federal systems integrator.
• We require a track record of creating reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, implementation guides, labs, or training materials.
• We are looking for strong communication skills at both executive and practitioner levels, with the ability to lead CTO briefings and hands-on engineering workshops.
• We need experience thriving in a remote environment.
• We require regular presence at partner sites across the National Capital Region.
• We expect willingness to travel approximately 25-35%.
• Preferred: experience supporting Federal capture, proposal, or recompete cycles.
• Preferred: prior partner or alliance solutions engineering experience at an enterprise software vendor.
• Preferred: broad observability and data engineering expertise alongside strong security knowledge.
• Preferred: relevant cloud, security, or vendor certifications.
• Preferred: an active or prior U.S. security clearance is a plus, though not required.
• Preferred: established relationships across the Federal SI ecosystem.
• Preferred: residence in the DC/VA/MD area.

• We serve as the dedicated technical advisor to our Federal Systems Integrator and consulting partners, from early technical briefings through hands-on architecture workshops.
• We partner with SI capture and solution architecture teams to shape Cribl into proposed program designs during capture, proposal, and recompete phases.
• We build and maintain reusable reference architectures, quick-start guides, and solution kits for use cases such as SOC modernization, SIEM migration, Zero Trust data pipelines, compliance logging, cloud migration, and observability modernization.
• We design and deliver ongoing partner enablement programs, including training, bootcamps, whiteboarding sessions, and certification paths across Stream, Edge, Search, and Lake.
• We deliver executive-level technical briefings to partner CTOs, chief architects, and practice leaders while developing technical champions within each strategic partner.
• We provide post-award technical support to partner delivery teams through office hours, architecture reviews, and sizing and deployment guidance.
• We work with our account SEs, sales teams, and partner managers on SI-led opportunities, keeping shared account plans and regular technical alignment in place.
• We represent partner needs internally by sharing field insights and feedback with our product and go-to-market teams.
• Because we operate remotely across multiple time zones, we may occasionally need to work outside standard hours.
