Product Manager/Business Analyst Bank Loan SystemsThe Senior Business Analyst, Bank Loans role helps drive product strategy, product design, and development. In this role, you will be responsible for:Performs market analysis and builds product plansGathers requirements from internal & external parties (clients, partners, vendors, etc.) and creates business requirement specificationsPrepares product impact assessment, reviews with engineering groups, estimates effortSummarizes the task for wider internal & external reviews and funding decisionsAnalyzes priorities, maintains the product calendar and works with engineering to ensure that development calendar is progressing according to planCreates functional specifications and reviews with relevant partiesReviews development process on an ongoing basisDemonstrates prototypes to interested parties, assesses usabilityReviews the QA and documentation process on an ongoing basisPrepares product literature and placement strategyMay speak at public events or author industry articles as appropriateCoordinates training and support resourcesWhat we value:Ability to research, analyze and develop product plansStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop and manage cross functional processes and project timelinesUnderstanding of the technology development life cycleProven ability to do requirements analysis, functional design and user interfaceSpecific knowledge of the investment industry (financial instruments, workflows, major players, trends, etc.)Strong contributor with high motivation, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidanceUnderstanding of Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance a plusEducation & Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (Engineering Preferred)10+ years of experience is idealCFA is a plusIdeal Competencies & Experience:Experience in either product management or implementation of bank/syndicate loans software systems like Wall Street Office and Allvue SystemsBlack Mountain is a strong plus
