Registered Nurses (RNs) for Full-Time Assignments

Amergis Staffing is seeking two Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time assignments at the Sacramento County Chest Clinic. These roles combine office-based work with home visits and require strict adherence to N95 PPE protocols due to TB-related patient care.

The RN will support latent TB case management, conduct home visits, deliver medications, audit documentation, and assist with targeted assessments. This role requires comfort working with TB patients, consistent PPE use, and strong adaptability.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage latent TB cases
• Conduct ~2 home visits per week
• Provide medication teaching and tolerance assessments
• Perform directly observed therapy (DOT + video DOT)
• Deliver medications to patient homes
• Audit documentation for quality control
• Work strictly onsite — no remote work
• Wear N95 at all times in clinic (fit testing required)
• Follow negative-pressure isolation room protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active California RN license
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Must be comfortable working with TB patients
• Must adhere to strict N95 PPE protocols
• Must be able to wear one of the clinic-approved NIOSH N95 models:

Compensation:

Local RN – Contract Hourly Pay: $56 Estimated Weekly Pay Package: $2,240
