Medical Assistant - Outpatient Clinic Job Details:
- Temporary 3-month assignment working Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Provide medical assistant support within an outpatient clinic setting
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a course of study consistent with Medical Assistant requirements as specified by the Medical Board of California
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification awarded by the American Heart Association required
- Completion of externship required by a Medical Assisting Program
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant required
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information and terminology
- Ability to effectively present information both verbally and in written form
