REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist Supplier Improvement in Winston Salem

Contributes to supplier quality performance by maintaining accurate KPI reporting, identifying trends, and driving follow-up on improvement actions. Partners with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, improve material performance, and support continuous improvement efforts. Builds foundational expertise while taking ownership of assigned processes and deliverables.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supplier Quality Performance & Reporting
  • Responsible for the development, accuracy, and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for product parameters and Supplier Quality KPIs
  • Analyses performance data to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights
  • Develops and delivers executive-level presentations on supplier quality performance to Factory Management
  • Continuous Improvement & Issue Resolution
  • Identifies and drives improvement opportunities related to materials, runnability, and QUIPs
  • Leads action planning, tracks progress, and ensures timely closure of supplier-related quality issues
  • Partners with Manufacturing teams to implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions
  • Actively participates in IWS DDS meetings, contributing insights and driving follow-up actions
  • Supplier Quality Governance & Tools
  • Responsible for the consolidation, tracking, and communication of supplier improvement actions
  • Oversees the maintenance and continuous enhancement of Quality KPI reporting tools in collaboration with Regional Quality and IT teams
  • Ensures data integrity and consistency across reporting systems
  • Cross-Functional & Strategic Initiatives
  • Contributes to and executes on local, regional, and global initiatives related to business KPIs and performance management
  • Partners across functions to align improvement priorities and ensure effective execution
  • Compliance, Safety & Regulatory Responsibilities
  • Completes all required FDA regulatory training and ensures adherence to compliance standards
  • Complies with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements, including, but is not limited to: Following all company safety policies and procedures, Identifying and mitigating safety and environmental risks, Completing required EHS training, Reporting incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately, Participating in site EHS programs (e.g., PULSAR, Safety Triggers)
What are we looking for?
  • Associate degree with relevant experience (2+ yrs) or High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience (3+ yrs)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Previous Quality and Continuous Improvement experience
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with a keen sense of urgency
  • Quality conscious with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment to accomplish objectives
  • Dependable and flexible; ability to change direction quickly
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of and experience with SAP, MES, and Ignition software programs
  • Knowledge of TPMP regulations

The following is a general summary of the competitive compensation and benefit plans we offer:
  • 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
    • Company matches 100 percent of employee pre-tax/Roth (401k) contributions up to six percent
    • Company contributes an additional three percent to 401(k) whether employee participates or not
