Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure management. The candidate will be responsible for building, automating, securing, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure while supporting application migration and modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Develop automation scripts using Python, Go, Java, C, or C++.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
Support cloud migration, application modernization, and production deployments.
Implement cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, certificate management, and key management.
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
Prepare technical documentation and implementation guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, infrastructure provisioning, or CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with GCP and cloud infrastructure management.
Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, Java, C, or C++.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE.
Experience with cloud architecture and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Experience with cloud migration and application modernization.
Knowledge of IAM, encryption, and key management.
Familiarity with DoD IL5/IL6 security standards.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on cloud engineer with strong GCP, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and troubleshooting experience who can build, secure, and maintain enterprise cloud environments.
