Internship Program The Sun Life Actuarial Internship Program is designed for aspiring actuarial professionals and supports the continuing development of our actuarial community by promoting an environment conducive to a student's successful passing of actuarial exams. Internship will be hybrid, and interns must be located near one of our US based offices. Actuarial Interns can expect to build technical skills, learn insurance concepts and gain an understanding of product features and contracts. You’ll gain an understanding of the insurance business in general, while learning to leverage technology-based tools to perform analysis and solve problems. In addition to building your skills and knowledge, interns provide meaningful contributions to their respective teams by completing real entry-level actuarial projects. Towards the end of your internship, you will also have the opportunity to give a presentation on summer experience to your peers, managers and other members of the Sun Life actuarial community. We offer a well-rounded summer experience, including lunch & learn sessions, networking opportunities with business leaders and members of the actuarial community and social activities with other interns from across the organization.
