PAY:
Local Pay - $55/hr on W2.

Travelers Pay: 
Taxable Amount - $21.5/hr on W2
Lodging Stipend - $1,100 weekly
Meals Stipend - $768 weekly
Weekly Gross - $2,900 weekly including stipend for 48 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Stepdown
Location - Atlanta, GA 30303
Duration - 16 weeks contract
Day Shift - 7 am to 7:30 pm // 48 hours 
Beds - 6-20 beds 

Ratio: 1:4 patients

Float - Yes, possible float to all IMCU units (5J and 12A most common)

Common patients: Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hyperensive Emergency, Respiratory 

Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney disease, TDM2, Substance abuse, Status Epilepticus, Encephalopathy

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide care to high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring between ICU and Med-Surg.
Monitor telemetry, vital signs, cardiac and respiratory status and recognize patient deterioration.
Manage oxygen therapy, IV medications, central/PICC lines, drains, and Foley catheters.
Administer medications and treatments, perform assessments, and monitor patient response.
Assist with rapid responses and emergency situations when needed.
Review labs and diagnostic results and communicate changes to physicians.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide patient/family education.
Maintain accurate EHR documentation and follow safety and infection-control protocols.

REQUIREMENT:
2+ years of experience within the specialty required

Georgia or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS.
