Night 3x12-Hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical respiratory care to patients, primarily in the NICU, while meeting the needs of adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The candidate must possess NICU experience and be open to floating to other campuses as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient ventilators and perform airway management including intubation and extubation.
• Administer medications including bronchodilators and inhaled steroids.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and basic EKGs.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care continuity.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for pulmonary function tests.
• Assure high levels of patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult critical care; NICU experience required.
• Licensure: Valid WA Respiratory License is required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
