Senior Texting Strategist

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We're beginning a search for a full-time Senior Strategist, Text Rental to join Fraiser. This is a remote role for someone with experience in political texting, digital fundraising, or campaigntechnology. The ideal candidate has experience developing fundraising copy, managing texting campaigns, advising clients on strategy, and using platforms such as Switchboard, ActBlue, ActionKit, Scale to Win, or similar tools. This person will lead the day-to-day execution and strategic growth of Fraiser's managed Text Rental service, helping political campaigns and nonprofit organizations maximize fundraising performance through strategic testing, copy development, campaign execution, and client consulting. As we expand our nonprofit business, this role will also help grow our managed texting offering beyond political campaigns. Text Rental has quickly become one of Fraiser's fastest-growing products, making this a unique opportunity to help shape the future of an expanding managed service. Working directly with campaigns, consultants, and nonprofit organizations, you'll help define new strategies, best practices, and service offerings while influencing the long-term evolution of one of Fraiser's core products. CLIENT STRATEGY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned Text Rental clients, building trusted relationships with campaigns, consultants, and nonprofit organizations. Develop customized texting strategies designed to maximize fundraising performance while meeting each client's goals and budget. Recommend audience targeting, testing plans, send schedules, and inventory strategies based on historical performance and current fundraising conditions. Review campaign performance with clients and proactively identify opportunities to improve ROI. Stay current on political and nonprofit fundraising trends to identify new messaging and campaign opportunities.

CAMPAIGN EXECUTION RESPONSIBILIITIES

Own the end-to-end execution of Fraiser's managed Text Rental campaigns. Manage multiple concurrent client campaigns while maintaining exceptional quality and responsiveness. Build, QA, schedule, launch, and monitor broadcast texting campaigns using platforms such as Switchboard Coordinate campaign logistics, including client onboarding, platform setup, audience uploads, approvals, and reporting. Maintain exceptional quality control across all campaigns with close attention to detail. Troubleshoot campaign issues quickly while coordinating with internal teams and platform partners. Develop and continuously improve internal operating procedures and campaign workflows. Ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule while maintaining an exceptional client experience.

COPYWRITING RESPONSIBILITIES

Draft compelling fundraising copy for political campaigns and nonprofit organizations, collaborating with clients when they prefer to provide or refine their own messaging. Collaborate with clients to refine messaging while preserving each organization's authentic voice. Develop A/B testing strategies for messaging, calls-to-action, timing, and fundraising appeals. Analyze copy performance and apply learnings to future campaigns. Build and maintain a library of proven fundraising messaging and best practices. Identify rapid-response fundraising opportunities based on current events and campaign developments. Stay current on political news, legislative developments, and nonprofit trends to proactively identify timely fundraising opportunities.

PRODUCT & BUSINESS GROWTH RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with the Sales team to support new business opportunities and client presentations. Participate in prospective client meetings as the subject matter expert on managed texting. Help develop case studies, marketing materials, and best practices that showcase Text Rental performance. Develop internal best practices and playbooks that improve campaign execution, client outcomes, and operational consistency. Collaborate with leadership to refine and expand Fraiser's managed texting offerings for nonprofit organizations. Continuously recommend new products, workflows, and service enhancements that improve client experience and help grow Fraiser's managed texting business. Identify trends in client demand and provide recommendations that help shape the future evolution of Fraiser's Text Rental service.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in political texting, digital fundraising, campaign technology, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing broadcast and/or P2P texting campaigns from strategy through execution. Strong fundraising copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different organizations, audiences, and fundraising objectives. Experience developing and presenting strategic recommendations to clients based on campaign goals and performance. Experience using texting platforms such as Switchboard, Scale to Win, Tatango, or similar tools. Familiarity with fundraising platforms such as ActBlue, ActionKit, EveryAction/Bonterra, NGP, or comparable CRMs. Exceptional organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent client campaigns while meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and business applications such as Box, DocuSign, Close (or similar CRM platforms). Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fully remote environment. Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require (anticipated to be less than 5%). Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and an ownership mindset, with a desire to continuously improve processes, test new ideas, and help shape the future of Fraiser's managed Text Rental service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting digital fundraising for nonprofit organizations. Experience working with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), labor, advocacy, or political organizations. Experience working at a digital agency, political consulting firm, campaign, or political technology company. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and performance optimization.
