The role you'll contribute:

A Finance Analyst interacts with department directors, physicians, and hospital management in conjunction with the Finance Manager to provide relevant, accurate, and timely information. Performs research, collects data, and skillfully organizes and presents the analysis to management in written or oral format. Demonstrates the ability to exercise objective, independent judgement in developing financial recommendations for management. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

• Provide support and assistance in developing and communicating actionable information at all levels of the organization and assist in developing business plans and strategies with management based on the information.
• Focus on process improvement strategies of financial outcomes in support of process initiatives.
• Compiling monthly financial reporting and providing summary analysis as needed to explain financial statements to multiple levels of hospital staff, physicians, and management.
• Demonstrate the ability to coordinate projects as required in conjunction with the manager and staff.
• Ensures all documentation is current for all areas of responsibility.
• Coordinates projects by maintaining a project plan and anticipating potential roadblocks that staff may encounter and taking corrective action so projects are completed on time.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance from four-year college or university required within 90 days of employment.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA/MHA

Minimum of one year of experience in accounting related duties, claims and/or customer service

Experience with Epic Systems

Experience with Crowe Healthcare Suites
