The journey continues.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Production Welder Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 19.00 to $ 24.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredWeekend Shift (Friday through Sunday from 05:00am to 05:30pm)Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and proceduresSelect appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methodsSet up and align components using fixtures, tape measures, levels, speed squares, and clampsPrepare parts using angle grinders and other toolsWeld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)Assemble and prepare trailers by welding components and filling gapsFollow safety, quality, and production standardsProduction Welder Qualifications:Welding experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to read and use a tape measure accuratelyKnowledge of production processes and quality control is a plusAbility to lift, push, and pull 50–70 lbs consistentlyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
