Marketing & Customer Support Intern (In-House)

The Michael Griffin State Farm agency is seeking an organized, efficient contributor to fulfill administrative duties and support the office in gaining and keeping customers. As an Intern, your attention to detail, dedication to customer relations, and marketing-mindedness will equip you for this versatile position. This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn, stay proactive, and gain hands-on experience in real marketing work—supporting day-to-day initiatives across digital and in-person channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the business goals of the insurance office with mutually agreed-upon expectations
• Assist with marketing efforts, including but not limited to:
  • social media
  • Google Business Profile management
  • AI-driven marketing support ( AI experience preferred )
  • lead follow-up and appointment setting
  • outside marketing events (help with preparation, promotion support, and event assistance)
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet customer needs while promoting the development of the business
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service , which may include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, claim submissions and follow-up and billing clarification

QUALIFICATIONS

• To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship
• Coursework or expressed interest in areas such as Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team , as well as operate independently
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills , including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
• Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
