Our MissionTo improve the health of the communities we serve through contemporary, innovative, quality healthcare solutions.Schedule: Full time (36 hours/week) 6:45 am-7:15 pmAbout Us - Rehab UnitWe are the area's only inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the third floor at Freeman Hospital East with 20 beds serving patients with strokes, lower extremity fractures, non-traumatic spinal cord injuries, amputations, cardiac and trauma/medically complex patients. All patients are required to participate in 3 hours of therapy per day, 5 out of the 7 days in the week. The best part of our department is the team oriented approach to care and the opportunity to get to know the patient and watch them improve before your eyes.What You'll DoUnder the direction of a professional RN, participates in the systematic and continual assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; the planning and implementation of appropriate interventions; and the evaluation of effectiveness and adjustment of a plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.RequirementsCurrent Missouri Practical Nurse License or current practical nurse license from a compact state.
