Police Officer RecruitThe City of Cathedral City is seeking enthusiastic women and men interested in establishing a challenging career in Public Safety. Pay rate: $27.00 per hour. Job classification: Temporary/at-will. A Police Officer Recruit serves as a paid at-will employee while attending training at a basic POST-certified recruit academy and may be sworn in as a full-duty Police Officer upon successful graduation and completion of City Police employment requirements.In order to be considered for this opportunity, all candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network at NTN scores must have been issued within the last 6 months from the date when you submitted your application with the City. Active academy students do not need to take the exam through NTN.Qualifications:High School graduation or equivalentU.S. citizen or permanent resident alien who is eligible for, and has applied for citizenship, prior to appointmentMinimum age 21 years at time of appointment as Police Officer.
