About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and contributing to financial reporting and internal controls. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial statement preparation
- Assist with internal and external audits, including providing necessary documentation
- Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
- Support implementation and improvement of accounting policies and procedures
- Partner with FP&A, AP, AR, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy
- Participate in system enhancements, process automation, and ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience (public/private mix is a plus)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data reconciliation)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing, CPG, tech, or similar industries a plus
