Proposal Writer

21Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to lead and support the development of high-quality, compelling proposals and other business development materials. This individual will work closely with leadership, business development, sales, technical subject matter experts, and delivery teams to develop clear, persuasive, and compliant responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other client opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator with experience developing proposals within technology consulting, professional services, government contracting, or related industries. Knowledge of Asset Management and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is highly preferred. This individual does not need to be a technical subject matter expert but should understand asset management concepts, terminology, and business processes well enough to effectively translate technical and business information into compelling proposal content. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Proposal Development: Develop, write, edit, and coordinate high-quality responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other client solicitations from initial review through final submission. Content Development: Translate technical, operational, and business information into clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content tailored to client requirements. Asset Management Content: Develop proposal content related to Asset Management and Enterprise Asset Management solutions, services, implementations, and business outcomes. RFP Analysis & Compliance: Review solicitation requirements, identify key response criteria, and ensure proposals are complete, compliant, accurate, and responsive to client needs. Collaboration: Partner with leadership, business development, sales, technical SMEs, project teams, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop effective responses. Win Themes & Messaging: Help develop compelling messaging, differentiators, value propositions, and win themes aligned with client priorities and 21Tech capabilities. Editing & Quality Control: Review proposal content for clarity, consistency, grammar, tone, formatting, accuracy, and overall quality. Proposal Coordination: Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, content assignments, reviews, and revisions to ensure timely submission. Content Library: Maintain and enhance reusable proposal content, project descriptions, company information, resumes, past performance, and other supporting materials. Presentations & Business Development Materials: Support the development and refinement of presentations, executive summaries, capability statements, and other business development materials as needed. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated experience writing and developing proposals, preferably within technology consulting, professional services, government contracting, or a related environment. Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, including understanding proposal requirements, compliance, and submission deadlines. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear and compelling content. Knowledge or understanding of Asset Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is highly preferred. Deep technical expertise is not required, but the ability to understand and effectively communicate asset management concepts and solutions is important. Experience working with technical subject matter experts and business leaders to gather, organize, and translate information into proposal content. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional work. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment. Experience supporting public sector, transportation, utilities, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries is a plus. Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management platforms such as IBM Maximo Application Suite or Octave Attune EAM is a plus but not required.
