My client, a community hospital in western New York (right between Buffalo and Rochester) is looking for a qualified Med Tech / Medical Laboratory Scientist . 

\n

 

\n

This is a full-time, permanent position with comprehensive benefits.

Multiple shifts are available.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Performs laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
\n
• Operates laboratory equipment.
\n
• Perform precise specimen analysis and report results accurately.
\n
• Completes QC Action Logs, preventative maintenance logs, and pending lists daily. 
\n
• Assists with training new personnel.
\n

Qualifications: 

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Science 
\n
• A valid NYS License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist
\n
• At least 3 years of generalist experience
\n
• American Society for Clinical Pathology Medical Technologist (ASCP MT) certification preferred
\n
