Medical Records Technician (Office Automation)

Duties

Help

Process requests for information applicable to patient's records such as medical histories, x-rays, laboratory and radiographic reports, pathological reports, clinical records and related data.

Research and extract required information from hospital inpatient and outpatient records.

Verify requester's eligibility to receive privileged medical information and ensure strict compliance with regulations and policies.

Compose correspondence and extracts of medical reports and records in response to the most difficult/sensitive request.

Monitor priorities to ensure schedules and deadlines are met even with changing workloads.
