Estate Planning AttorneySeeking an Estate Planning Attorney to provide legal counsel to clients on tax planning, estate planning, and the administration of trusts and estates.A well-established law firm serving individuals and businesses across New Jersey and New York, specializing in tax law, trust, and estate planning. Our practice provides comprehensive legal services to clients, helping them navigate complex legal and financial matters. We are looking to expand our team with an experienced attorney to support our growing tax, trust, and estate practice.DescriptionProvide legal counsel to clients on tax planning, estate planning, and the administration of trusts and estates.Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.Advise clients on estate and gift tax issues, including strategies for minimizing taxes.Assist with probate and trust administration matters, including the filing of tax returns and preparation of financial reports.Stay current on changes in tax laws, estate planning, and related legal developments.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals (e.g., financial planners, accountants) to provide comprehensive service to clients.QualificationsJD from an accredited law school.2-3+ years of experience in tax law, trust, and estate planning.Active New Jersey law license (required); New York license (preferred).LLM a plus, but not required.Strong understanding of estate and gift taxation, fiduciary duties, and probate processes.Excellent drafting, communication, and client service skills.Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail.Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and team-oriented approach.A strong background in estate planning, tax compliance, and the administration of trusts and estates.Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families is a plus.Non-litigation trusts and estates attorney.Ideally more than 2 years of good experienceBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
