Automotive Body TechnicianAs an Automotive Body Technician at McCluskey Chevrolet you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various auto body issues, restoring vehicles to their optimal condition.A short list of your tasks and responsibilities:Properly read and supplement repair estimatesRestore structural dimensions and integrity to the collision damaged vehiclesUse measuring and frame equipment to diagnose damage and return damaged frame or unibody parts to manufacturer’s specificationsUse hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new partsWork with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical and mechanical partsCommunicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts for repairsResearch repair information as neededWe’re looking for a self-starter who meets the following qualifications:3 years of experience as a collision/body technicianI-CAR and aluminum certification preferredHigh School diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseHere’s how we take care of you (and your loved ones):Medical, dental, and vision benefitsVoluntary benefits availablePaid time off upon hirePaid company holidays401(k) with employer matchGrowth potentialAutomotive discountsIf you are qualified, you will be considered for this position: An Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V.
