Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of freight along assigned routes. Your expertise in operating commercial vehicles, managing deliveries, and handling cargo will be essential to maintaining exceptional customer service. About the Role:

As a Class A CDL Driver in the retail industry, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customers. Responsibilities include operating commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies. You will maintain delivery documentation, driver logs, and vehicle inspection records while coordinating with customers, warehouse personnel, and dispatch teams. Providing excellent customer service and resolving delivery-related issues professionally are essential to success in this role. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with all required endorsements.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety and no major traffic violations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Class A CDL Driver in the retail, transportation, or logistics industry preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation systems, and route planning software.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and build positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport and deliver products to customer and retail locations.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records, including delivery documentation, hours-of-service logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Coordinate effectively with customers, warehouse personnel, and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Comply with all company policies, DOT requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and related transportation technology is preferred, as it helps maintain accurate records and improve operational efficiency.
