About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Economic Equity and Opportunity. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the organization's strategic efforts to promote economic equity and enhance opportunities for all residents. This includes the oversight of programs and initiatives designed to reduce economic disparities, foster inclusive economic growth, and ensure fair wage practices. The role involves monitoring wage rates, advocating for equitable economic policies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive systemic change. The Executive Director will also be responsible for strategic planning, funding and financial management, program development, and impact, as well as community and business development. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in economic development, public policy, or a related area, with a focus on equity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading economic equity initiatives, strong analytical skills in wage rate monitoring, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Key responsibilities include providing expert advice on economic equity policy, ensuring compliance with fair wage practices, and building strong relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and government agencies. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence decision-making processes.
