Senior Construction Project Manager

ROLE:  “SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER”

An ideal candidate has experience in managing healthcare or medical office building construction projects, as a general contractor and/or construction manager, from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks, along with experience managing people, as well as be an effective communicator. Knowledge and experience with multiple delivery methods preferred (i.e. Lump Sum, GMP, D/B, LLB, CMAR, etc.)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee complete projects as an Owner's Representative for active hospital facility or medical office building construction.
  • Budgeting, Cost Estimating, Fiscal Management Principles & Procedures
  • Project Budget management
  • Contract management and negotiations
  • Develop a plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans
  • Manage work & inputs from a variety of stakeholders
  • High level of client interaction

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience as PM critical
  • Experience working in acute care hospital and OSHPD facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with a team
  • High level of experience with Project Management & Scheduling Software (& MS Office Suite)
