Overview The Controller will serve as an integral part of the company's senior leadership team, ensuring accurate financials and helping to drive long-term business strategy. This new hire will truly have a seat at the table. Mentor a small team of 4-5 direct reports at the transactional level. Responsibilities Takes ownership of the company’s financial integrity and reporting Establishes structure, consistency, and strong internal controls to a growing business Enjoys developing and mentoring a team while driving continuous improvement Is comfortable partnering directly with ownership and senior leaders Can lead the external audit process Successfully manages the full-cycle accounting close process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 6+ years of progressive accounting & finance experience, including prior supervisory experience with direct reports Strong GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred Experience overseeing the monthly close process from start to finish Proponent of utilizing Excel and technology in general #J-18808-Ljbffr AP Rochester
