Senior Estimator / Professional Engineer (PE) – Grading & Excavation

Compensation

$110,000–$130,000+ annually , with $125,000 target salary , depending on experience and qualifications.

Ideal Candidate:

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license  
• 5+ years of experience in grading, excavation, site development, or heavy civil construction  
• Strong estimating and takeoff experience 
• Experience with earthwork, site grading, land clearing, trenching, wet soil mixing, utilities, and soil stabilization  
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications 
• Understanding of equipment production, labor, materials, trucking, and project costs 
• Experience working directly with general contractors, developers, engineers, and owners  
• Strong sales and business-development skills 
• Existing relationships/network within the construction industry 
• Ability to work closely with operations, project managers, superintendents, and field crews 
• Strong communication and negotiation skills 
• Ability to identify profitable opportunities and understand project risk 

We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in grading, excavation, site development, and heavy civil construction to join our growing team.

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced construction professional who understands both the technical and business sides of excavation . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong estimating capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and clients.

The successful candidate will play a key role in estimating projects, developing new business, building contractor relationships, supporting operations, and helping the company identify and win profitable work.
