Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current certification as a COTA.
• Valid licensure in the state of California.
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, though not required.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement treatment strategies supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-help skill development.
• Assist in documenting student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Adapt and modify classroom materials or activities to meet students’ unique needs.
• Use creative problem-solving to support student engagement and functional independence.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure seamless support.
