Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (09:00 - 21:30) Experience: Minimum 5 years required License: Valid state nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 4 - Experience with required charting system Description: ER Registered Nurse needed for a busy emergency room. Will be working every other weekend. Five years of experience required as per management. Patient age groups include neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census varies between 50 to 70 patients. The unit has 12 rooms and 11 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes therapy, respiratory care, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and unit secretarial support. Key skills include management of ventilated patients, central line care, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and procedural sedation administration. Healthcare professionals must adhere to isolation precautions and manage IV medications including vasopressors. Candidates must be prepared to float as needed. Compliance with the onboarding process is mandatory. Verification of a 7-year work history is required. Documentation must be provided to support work history information.
