Job Description
The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager by leading a medium-sized team and ensuring smooth day-to-day retail operations. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supervising staff, managing cash handling processes, and maintaining attractive visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to drive satisfaction and loyalty
- Supervise and motivate a medium-sized team (6-15 employees) to meet sales and operational goals
- Manage cash handling activities ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising guidelines to enhance store presentation
- Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to support overall store performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising retail teams of similar size
- Strong understanding of retail operations and cash management
- Knowledge of visual merchandising best practices
- Interest in opportunities for lateral moves within retail operations for career growth
