The Remote Order Support Specialist is responsible for processing customer orders, maintaining accurate order records, coordinating shipments, and providing timely support to customers and internal departments. This role helps ensure the accurate and efficient fulfillment of chemical product orders while supporting customer satisfaction and daily distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and enter customer purchase orders into the company's order management system.
• Verify product information, quantities, pricing, shipping details, and requested delivery dates.
• Monitor order status, inventory availability, backorders, and shipment schedules.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order confirmations, product availability, delivery updates, and order discrepancies.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and account management teams to resolve order issues.
• Maintain accurate digital records of customer orders, invoices, shipping documents, and related correspondence.
• Identify and correct order entry errors to minimize processing delays.
• Assist with order tracking, data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
• Follow company procedures for chemical product documentation, shipping requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers using email, telephone, and virtual collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in order processing, customer service, data entry, administrative support, or distribution preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems or order management software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote work environment.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable home workspace.
