Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN with a specialty in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Salem, Virginia. This role is based in a hospital environment, where expertise in labor and delivery practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Provide patient care using Monica Novii, Ambulatory Monitors, and GE EFM
• Administer medications and perform lab draws and IV insertions
• Conduct vaginal exams and set up for deliveries
• Assist with epidural placements and act as a circulator in C-sections
• Participate in PACU recovery for spinal anesthesia and handle antepartum triage
• Support obstetrical procedures such as ECV, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• RN licensure
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Experience in labor and delivery, strip interpretation, and OB medication knowledge
• Proficiency in setting up delivery equipment and managing obstetrical complications
