Manufacturing EngineerHII's Mission Technologies division is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Multi-Functional Manufacturing Engineer for their Syracuse, NY Manufacturing Operations. Under the direction and guidance of the Production Manager, they will help lead our efforts to identify and drive out losses through standards and system development. They will support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and help build long term capability within the Manufacturing Organization.Essential Job Responsibilities:Analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvementsEnsuring compliance with customer and company proposed standards and requirementsWorking with team members with the integration of new and existing processes for both assembly and testCreate and update work instructions and product travelers as requiredWorking with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risksPrioritizing and executing projects for ongoing process improvementsSupport Product Quality investigations and initiativesMinimum Qualifications:2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.Complies with security procedures in the performance of duties.IPC610/J-STD-001/IPC620 experience preferredBasic understanding of other process/quality frameworks: ISO 9001, Lean & Six SigmaBasic understanding in process documentation, workflow definition, and analyzing gapsSelf-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal directionAbility to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.Preferred Requirements:Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal directionAbility to work both in a team and individuallyAbility to multi-task and work well under pressure.The listed salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities.
