Developer & Infrastructure Engineer, AI Workflow Evaluation

Role Overview
Apply your developer, cloud, and infrastructure expertise to evaluate AI-powered workflows and help improve how next-generation AI systems handle real-world technical work. This remote contract role focuses on testing AI outputs across software engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate AI-assisted developer and infrastructure workflows using GitHub, GitLab, JIRA, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Assess the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated commands, configurations, and outputs in cloud and platform engineering contexts.
- Document observations, identify discrepancies, and provide detailed feedback grounded in professional experience.
- Evaluate how AI agents work with connected workplace platforms, including Slack, Google Drive, and Microsoft 365.
- Submit written evaluations and participate in virtual discussions to clarify workflow requirements.
- Recommend improvements and flag potential issues in AI-driven processes, with attention to real-world applicability and industry standards.
- Maintain clear written and verbal communication with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, cloud, platform engineering, or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and observability frameworks.
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, and JIRA.
- Professional experience using AI agents, such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or Codex, alongside development and infrastructure tools.
- Ability to evaluate technical processes and provide actionable feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with care for clarity and thoroughness.
- Experience with workplace connectors or automation tools is a plus.
