Aerial Lineman - MN/WI Travel

Responsibilities As an Aerial Lineman, you will support aerial construction and repair of RF and fiber service. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge. In addition, you will: Climb poles or operate a bucket truck to install, relocate, and maintain aerial plant Read and interpret schematics, prints, and construction drawings Troubleshoot and resolve field issues as they arise Pull, place, and lash cable for various wireline projects Work collaboratively with crew members and technicians to support project completion and expand industry knowledge Travel 50% of the year within the MidWest (primarily MN, WI, and surrounding states) Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You are an experienced Lineman with extensive knowledge of all equipment needed for aerial work You are comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles A valid Drivers License with 3 years of a clean record is required; CDL is highly preferred Travel Details: Monday through Friday travel expected Per diem M-Thur. & Fri. if they work till noon, anyone 60+ from home 50+ hours per week. Overtime applies after 40 hours per week. Work is weather dependent MOS Codes 2847, B05A, 3D157, 002599, 5699, 12P, 12Q relate well to this position. Compensation of $24-$32 per hour, depending on the experience.
