As a Groundskeeper II, you will be responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, landscape, and equipment maintenance.For more information on our open opportunities, apply today!ResponsibilitiesMaintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessaryGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf coursePerforms related duties as assigned by supervisor or managerEducation and Experience Requirements2 years of golf maintenance experience with additional experience in golf course irrigation.Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)Working ConditionsFrequently uses handsRegularly stands, walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawlsFrequently lifts, moves, and carries up to 50 pounds; to push or pull up to 100 poundsRegularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, moving mechanical parts, compact spaces, hot attic temperatures, and outside weather conditionsNoise level is moderateTroon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the world's largest professional club management company.
