We're looking for a motivated Residential Painting Estimator/Sales Consultant to help homeowners plan interior and exterior painting projects. This role goes beyond measuring and quoting — you'll build relationships, understand customer needs, recommend solutions, prepare accurate estimates, and guide prospects through the sales process. Painting experience is helpful but not required; we'll train the right person with a strong sales, estimating, or customer service background. What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners to evaluate painting projects
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals
- Educate customers on options, scope, and expectations
- Follow a consistent sales process from appointment to signed contract
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and follow up with prospects
- Build strong customer relationships and respond promptly to leads
- Work toward individual and company sales goals
- Participate in networking, home shows, and community events
- Generate referrals and repeat business
- Maintain accurate records in company software
- Coordinate with production and office teams
- Sales or estimating experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Professional, confident, customer-focused presentation
- Strong organization and follow-up habits
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, detail-oriented
- Comfortable with computers, smartphones, tablets, and CRM software
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable with a team-first attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Available weekdays and Saturdays as needed
- High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's preferred but not required
- Company vehicle, computer, phone, and tablet
