Career Opportunities: Procurement Operations Hub Manager (5645) Requisition ID 5645 -Posted - Pricing, Procurement & Sustainability - Indirects - Indirects, Americas - Kaukauna Central office - Posting Country (1) Job Location : 600 Thilmany Road, Kaukauna, WI 54130 Job Title : Procurement Operations Hub Manager Job Duties : Ahlstrom NA Specialty Solutions LLC seeks a Procurement Operations Hub Manager in Kaukauna, WI to manage and secure stable supply of materials and deliveries by ensuring availability, quality, and timely delivery of raw materials, products, and services to manufacturing sites, offices, and R&D centers across the North America region. Apply risk mitigation methodologies, monitor supplier base, and support Category Strategy implementation. Engage with stakeholders and site managers to understand business requirements, support standardization of products, services, and processes, and represent site operational and long-term needs within procurement management team and procurement strategy discussions. Develop, lead, and manage teams of Tactical Site Buyers, Material Planners, and Procurement Specialists to secure supply, support direct and indirect (Procure to Pay) P2P processes, manage vendor data and procurement systems, and ensure effective execution of procurement operations. Maintain team engagement, performance management, and individual competence development through training and learning initiatives. Serve as point of contact and escalation for site managers, participate in site management meetings, and collaborate with tactical buying teams and regional and global direct and indirect Category Management to align priorities, resolve escalated issues, and ensure high-speed resolution of supply and procurement challenges. Support and drive best practices in sourcing such as consignment programs or VMI (Vendor Management Inventory) and implementation of small CAPEX investments by ensuring early procurement involvement, embedding a total cost of ownership mindset, and collaborating with CAPEX Procurement CAPEX Category Managers to support timely and reliable execution of mid and large CAPEX projects, including feedback on supplier performance and contract compliance. Track, manage, and support procurement performance. May work from home 1 day per week. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout North America. Minimum Requirements : Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a closely related field plus 10 progressive years of procurement management experience in: Managing a team of procurement employees; Procurement in MRO goods and services; Implementing category strategies for an international organization; Leading organizational change and process improvement initiatives; Managing multiple ERP systems for purchasing MRO Goods and Services and Functional Spend; Managing multiple MRP systems for inventory management on raw materials from domestic and global sources; Managing Procure ‑ to ‑ Pay processes from PR (Purchase Requisition) creation through invoice payment using multiple systems Oracle, SAP, Basware, Ariba, and Guided Buying; Supporting and performing MRP planning and aligning MRP signals with supply plans; Managing and maintaining inventory parameters for inventory optimization including safety stock, reorder point, minimum order quantity and lead times; Managing RFIs/RFQs and competitive sourcing events and managing supplier relationships; Leading pricing, commercial, contract negotiations and risk management; Creating and analyzing total cost of ownership (TCO) and should ‑ cost models; Identifying issues, analyzing data, and developing actionable recommendations using Six Sigma methodology; and Following procurement policies and procedures including sourcing thresholds, approval matrices, and supplier onboarding.
