Machine Specialist Baskets

The L-Sealer Machine Specialist is responsible for operating L-sealer equipment at an appropriate rate of speed to insure production schedules are met on a daily basis. Operator is expected to do minor adjustments to the equipment to insure that the product meets the quality standards. The Operator does not service a running machine, but is responsible for setting the pace for the entire production line and is therefore critical to the success of the whole production line. The operator is also responsible for inspecting the gift to insure that it meets minimum quality standards and give the appropriate feedback to the supervisor if it does not meet those standards.

Requirements:

• High School diploma, GED Certificate or equivalent work-related experience is preferred.
• Some previous work-related experience helpful, but not required.
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving of whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and lifting to 20 pounds.
• Working near moving mechanical parts
• Will be working in dust noise and varied temperatures (65?- 95?), and tight spaces.
• Packing House dress code requirements must be followed.
• Must be flexible to schedule changes.
• Honest and respectful communication.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.
• This is a Safety Sensitive position requiring a Drug screening, with follow-up testing if required.
• FLSA status - Hourly Non-Exempt.
