Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical-surgical unit and possess the skills to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. You will be responsible for managing patient care, ensuring safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred but can be obtained before the start date.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• A valid RN license and a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
